On the New Year Eve, Zhejiang University Wenqin Art Troupe staged a concert entitled “Sound of the University” at Hangzhou Theatre. This was the fifth “Sound of the University” concert for which students music players had been preparing for a whole year.
The tradition of Zhejiang University New Year Concert has a history of 5 years. In the past years, Wenqin Symphony Orchestra was responsible for every program. This year, the school choir and faculty art troupe joined the event. Every member of the art troupe treasured the opportunity of performance and won prolonged applauses with every piece of music. The concert ended with “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “The Sound of Music”.
