In 2004, ZJU joined WUN, a consortium of 23 universities, spanning 13 countries on six continents. WUN hosts interdisciplinary research groups, promotes short-term overseas research visits, and coordinates events, conferences, and virtual seminars.
ZJU joined ARPU in 2003. APRU links knowledge to action, learning to opportunity, research power to policy impact. It seeks to connect the capabilities of leading Asia-Pacific universities to real world solutions. You can track APRU activities and opportunities here.

The UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education at Zhejiang University was approved by UNESCO in February 2010. XU Xiaozhou, a professor of education at ZJU, serves as Chair Holder.
