Asia Pacific Forum on Global Health

2021-04-21

The spread of COVID-19 has made the world full of challenges. Also, the pandemic is reshaping the way of education, research, learning and global engagement. With the ongoing pandemic, global health is on the spotlight more than ever. Especially, there is an urgent need for fresh thinking on how higher medical education should be better prepared for future medical challenges.

As much as the virus distances people, communications and a shared commitment to human welfare brought us ever closer. The Forum is going to have an in-depth look at medical research, medical education and global healthcare, from viral and host genomics to vaccines R&D; from infectious disease prevention and control to population and health; from digital education to online international collaboration, as well as reflections and lessons learned in the COVID-19 age.

Physicians, researchers, global health experts, policy makers, educators are welcomed to share ideas and exchange knowledge at the one-day hybrid event, to further explore what we can contribute to advance human health through innovative discovery, education and health care to address big challenges facing the human beings in the Post-Pandemic Era.

As a serial event under the framework of Z4G Action Plan, the Forum is jointly hosted by Zhejiang University and APRU, exclusively organized by ZJU School of Medicine and the Second Affiliated Hospital of ZJU School of Medicine.

Please join us and make contribution to the call for UN SDG 3 - Good Health and Well Being!
