Teaching Reform and Achievements
Teaching Reform: Zhejiang University has
actively promoted teaching reform since 1999. Among its nearly 1000 undergraduate
teaching and reform projects, there are 14 New Century Education Reform
projects and 9 New Century Network Course projects funded by the Nation;
14 Education Reform projects of higher education funded by the Ministry
of Education; 12 New Century Teaching Reform projects funded by Zhejiang
Province in 2004, and 17 in 2005; 303 Teaching Reform projects, 143 Key
Course projects, 141 Superfine Course projects, 329 CAI Courseware projects,
7 Bilingual Teaching projects funded by Zhejiang University, and 40 World
Bank Loan projects.

Teaching Achievements: In 2001, the university won 10
second prizes of National Teaching Achievements, 39 first and second prizes
of Provincial Teaching Achievements. In 2005, the university won 2 first
prizes, and 13 second prizes of National Teaching Achievements; 22 first
prizes and 11 second prizes of Provincial Teaching Achievements.
