Yuquan Campus is located in the northwestern corner of the West Lake, and next to the Plant Park. The total area is over 1,700 mu. There are buildings with areas of 700,000 square meters. Yuquan Campus is the main campus of Zhejiang University, where administration offices are located. Currently, administration offices of the following nine colleges are located in this campus: College of Science, College of Electrical Engineering, College of Mechanical and Energy Engineering, College of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, College of Information Science and Engineering, College of Civil Engineering and Architecture, College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrumental Science, College of Economics, and College of Business Administration. Apart from these are nine national key disciplines, nine national key laboratories, two national engineering research centers, two national engineering technology research centers, one national basic science research site, and three national curriculum development sites for engineering.
