Professor Gennian Ge Won the 2006 Hall Award

On March 7, 2007, at the Annual Conference on Combinatorics and its Applications, held at Florida Atlantic University, USA, the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications (ICA) announced a result of the 2006 Hall Award. Professor Gennian Ge from Department of Mathematics, Zhejiang University, is on the list, and is the first Chinese scholar winning the award issued by ICA.

ICA has three kinds of awards, such as Eule, Hall and Kirkman Award. Hall Award is for young scholars under 40 years who have made achievements in the area of combinatorics. The Hall Award is issued once per year and issued to three awardees at most.
