Zhejiang University Develops Cooperation with Brown University

On April 13, 2007, an interuniversity cooperation frame agreement was signed between Zhejiang University and Brown University, USA, at Run Run Shaw Science Hall, Yuquan Campus. Five years from now, both sides will jointly develop comprehensive cooperation in exchange and training, joint scientific research, and etc. President Wei Yang from Zhejiang University and Vice-President Clyde Briant Brown University signed an agreement mentioned above on behalf of both universities, respectively.

Brown University founded in 1764, and is a famous private university. On April 11, a group of delegations led by Vice-President Clyde Briant visited Zhejiang University, and President Wei Yang met them, and shown several Centers and Schools. The next day, Prof. L. Ben Freund and Prof. Huajian Gao both delivered academic reports at Sir Run Run Shaw Science Hall, Yuquan Campus, while delegates had talks with related professors from Zhejiang University.
