Publisher Springer Donates Books to School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Zhejiang University

In the morning of May 8, 2007, Springer, one of the global largest publishers presented over 70 kinds of books worthy of 80,000 RMB, to School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Zhejiang University. At the ceremony, University President Yang Wei thanks them for the donation on behalf of Zhejiang University, and presented a remembrance to President Rudiger Gebauer of Springer.

Springer, founded in 1842, is one of the most influent publishing companies in the world. It publishes more than 5,000 kinds of new books and over 1,700 periodicals each year.

At the ceremony, principals of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics accepted the donation. High level Springer directors attended the ceremony, while a number of principals from various departments of Zhejiang University also participated in the event.
