Two Nobel Laureates Are Appointed as Honorary Professors of Zhejiang University

On May 21, 2007, the day of the 110th Anniversary Celebration of Zhejiang University, two Nobel laureates Burton Richter and Douglas Osheroff formally became Honorary professors of Zhejiang University, while they received letters of appointment from President Wei Yang, who put on university badges for them. After the appointing ceremony, both of them delivered lectures.

In the same morning, the two Nobel laureates visited some labs in Department of Physics, Yuquan Campus, and had a short talk with faculty members and students from School of Sciences.
