Nobel Laureate George Olah Was Appointed as an Honorary Professor of Zhejiang University

On August 2, 2007, Professor George Olah, a Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry in 1994 and professor of Department of Chemistry, University of Southern California, USA, was appointed as an honorary professor of Zhejiang University. The awarding ceremony was held at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall, Yuquan Campus. Vice-President Zhu Jun issued a certificate of honor professor and a university badge to him after introducing his biography and research orientation.

After the appointment ceremony, Professor George Olah gave a report on methanol economic to teachers and students attending the ceremony.
