Three Entities from Zhejiang University Were Elected as the 2007 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertations

Recently, through evaluation of the Committee on the 2007 National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation, Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education, Ministry of Education published a list of 98 excellent dissertations, of which three were from Zhejiang University.

The evaluation this year is the ninth time since 1999, and participators include awardees of doctoral degrees from September 2004 to August 2005, and a small amount of awardees between September 2002 and August 2004. Among the 98 papers elected, Chinese Academy of Science is on the first place with 15 papers, Tsinghua University second with 11.

Three winners of the University are Dr.Yangjian Cai from School of Science; Dr.Kun Luo from School of Mechanical and Energy Engineering; and Dr. Yizhen Wang from School of Animal Sciences, respectively.
