Approved NSFC Research Funding in 2007 for Zhejiang University Getting Higher Again

Recently, according to the news from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), number of approved applications for the 2007 NSFC general program and the total funding for Zhejiang University reached a new highness, and are on the top of all Chinese universities and research institutions.

Faculty members in Zhejiang University applied 1,521 projects totally this year, which were reviewed by experts organized by the NSFC. Up to now, there are total 367 projects approved with approximately 0.1 Billion RMB yuan, and an approved rate of 24.93%. Among the applications approved, 351 projects are for general program with 88.10 million RMB yuan, 16 for key program with 26.20 million RBM yuan.
