The basketball team of Zhejiang University won the 2nd place in CUBA 2003.

In October 2006, the Troupe visited the United States, giving performances at the headquarters of the United Nations and a number of top-notch American universities such as PrincetonUniversity, NorthwestUniversity, StanfordUniversity and University of California at Los Angeles(UCLA). 

The students of the university take an active part in various international contests and have frequently won 1st-class and 2nd-class prizes. This is a pictures of the certificate of a 1st-class prize from the international Mathematical Modeling Contest held in the USA in 2006.
