The University campus occupies lands of 450.37 hectares, with sweeping natural beauty surrounding the West Lake in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, and is less than three hours driving from Shanghai.

In addition to classrooms, laboratories, and other academic facilities, the campus includes student housing and faculty apartments, as well as athletic and recreational facilities.

A full range of campus services, including restaurants, bookstores, visitor lodgings, post offices, and banks, are also offered.

Zhejiang University is an ideal place for teaching, research and learning. There are five campuses, namely Zijingang, Yuquan, Xixi, Huajiachi, and Zhijiang.
