University compuses are located at various sites in Hangzhou City. Although there is a great stretch of geographical sites, it can be reached easily.
1. By Air (From Xiaoshan, Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao International Airports)
The most convenient and inexpensive way is to take airport shuttles from the Airport Shuttle Stands to arrive at the Airline Company at Wulinmen, Hangzhou, then take buses to various compuses.
1) From Shanghai Pudong Airport, take an airport shuttle (85 RMB/person) to Wulinmen, Hangzhou

Zijiang Campus: Tourist Bus No. Y5.
Zijingang Campus: Bus No. K188 to North Bus Station, then take bus No. K637;
2) From Shanghai Pudong Airport, take a bus (100 RMB/person) to Dragon Sports Center, Hangzhou (which is near the Yuquan Campus):

2. By Taxis (Driving to Campuses directly)
Within Hangzhou, taxis provide the simplest way to get to each campus, Zhejiang University, and are easily available at any place, from hotels and most areas of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. From the airport, the bus stations or train stations, you can take a taxi at the Xiaoshan Airport Taxi Stands, Bus Station Taxi Stands or Train Station Taxi Stands, and expect to pay approximately RMB 120 yuan (about US$15), RMB 20 yuan, or RMB 25 yuan, respectively. Note that only RMB will be accepted by your driver.
Print a copy of this page and the maps, and bring it with you. Additionally, you may need to show the route, or University campus name and address in Chinese to the taxi driver.
The taxi drop-off point on each campus is the corresponding main gate. For on-campus housing destinations, ask security guards.
3. By Buses/Minibuses
1) From East Bus Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take Buses Nos. 502 or K502 to arrive at the Gudang, then take Bus Nos. 15, K15 or 815.
Xixi Campus: Take Bus Nos. 502 or K502 to reach the destination directly.
Huajiachi Campus: Take Bus No. K518.
Zijiang Campus: Take Buses Nos. 502 or K502 to XueYuan Bus Stop of Tianmushan Road, and change Bus No. K194 to HuPao, then get Bus No. K4 or K808.
Zijingang Campus: Take Buses Nos. 502 or K502 to XueYuan Bus Stop of TianMuShan Road, and change Bus No. 15 or K15 to North Bus Station, then get Bus No. K637.
2) From South Bus Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take Bus No. 39 or K39 to Hangzhou Train Station, then take Bus No. K101.
Xixi Campus: Take Bus No. 14 or K14 to the Yanan Road, then change Bus No. K101 or K281.
Huajiachi Campus: Take Bus No. 39 or K39 to Hangzhou Train Station, then take Bus No. 528 or K528.
Zijiang Campus: Take Buses No. K808.
Zijingang Campus: Take Bus No. 14 or K14 to Wulinxiaoguangchang, and change Bus No. 516 to North Bus Station, then take Bus No. 637 or K637.
3) From West Bus Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take Buses Nos. 49, K49 or 502, K502 to Xixi Campus, then take Bus Nos. K293 or K101.
Xixi Campus: Take directly Buses Nos. 49, K49 or 502, K502.
Huajiachi Campus: Take Buses Nos. 49 or K49 to Hangzhou Train Station, then take Bus No. 528 or K528.
Zijiang Campus: Take Buses Nos. 49 or K49 to Hangzhou Train Station, and change Bus No. J5 to Liuheta, Jiuxi or Hupao, then get Bus No. K4.
Zijingang Campus: Take Buses Nos. 526 or K526 to North Bus Station, then take Bus No. K637.
4) From North Bus Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take directly Buses Nos. 15 or K15.
Xixi Campus: Take directly Bus No. 526 or K526 to Jiaogong Road, and then change Buses No.K307.
Huajiachi Campus: Take Bus No. K188 to Hangzhou Train Station, and then change Bus No. 528 or K528.
Zijiang Campus: Take Bus No. K188 to Kaiyuan Road, and change Buses Nos. 308 or K308.
Zijingang Campus: Take directly Buses No. K637.
4. By Trains
1) From Hangzhou Train Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take directly Bus Nos. 21, K21 or K101.
Xixi Campus: Take directly Bus Nos. 21, K21, 49, K49, 11, K11, K101, K281,or K900.
Huajiachi Campus: Take directly Bus No. 528 or K528.
Zijiang Campus: Take Bus No. J5 to Liuheta, and then change Bus No. 308, K308, K4, or K808.
Zijingang Campus: Take Bus No. K188 to North Bus Station, and then change Bus No. K637.
2) From Hangzhou East Train Station:
Yuquan Campus: Take directly Bus No. 28 or K28.
Xixi Campus: Take directly Buses No. 189.
Huajiachi Campus: Take Bus No. 302 or K302 to Nongxueyuan, then change Bus No. 528 or K528.
Zijiang Campus: Get Tourist Bus No. Y5.
Zijingang Campus: Take Bus No. K516 to North Bus Station, and then change Bus No. K637.
