Boston University and Zhejiang University Agreement

On October 31, 2014, Boston University and Zhejiang University  in China signed an agreement that has developed a framework of  cooperation between the College of Engineering at BU through its  Center for Information and Systems Engineering (CISE)  and the Faculty of Information Technology at Zhejiang through its State  Key Laboratory of Industrial Control Technology. Spearheaded by Ioannis  Paschalidis, Director of CISE, the primary purpose of this cooperation  is to create ties for new development and technology with shared  research, strengthening an academic environment of collaboration.

Both parties will be contributing to educational pursuits, in Boston  as well as China, with lectures, seminars, and most importantly, will be  engaged in the exchange of information, knowledge, and opportunities  with the common interest of technological advancement. This opportunity  has inspired agreements with other prestigious Chinese Universities,  currently in the development process and promises to strengthen the  possibilities of future global endeavors.
