Enjoy at Yinquan Cafeteria

Monday is my favorite day of the week this semester, because after class at 11:35 in the North Teaching Building, I can go straightforward to Yinquan Cafeteria for lunch. Even after half a semester, I haven’t tasted all the dishes there and I have never been disappointed by any new cuisine. My friends and teachers all feel the same, as I can often see their recommendations in Moments. I am confident to say that Yinquan has lifted the happiness level of ZJUer to a large extent. For those who haven’t been to Yinquan, here are some tips for you to enjoy this feast of delicacy.

Where is it?

Yinquan Cafeteria is located across the road from the newly built North Teaching Building in the western district of Zijingang campus. As the largest cafeteria on the western Zijingang campus, it has three floors with over 13,000 square meters.

What are the cuisines?

On the 1^st floor:

A-area includes four stalls: Kebab Snack, Wheaten Food, Tin Paper Pot and Southeast Asian Creative Cuisine. Cuisines from Thailand, India, western countries and different parts of China are all here waiting to be discovered.

B-area includes Cantonese Cuisine and Western Food and C-area is the Rice Noodle Bar.

On the 2^nd floor:

Northwest Flavor, Quick Selection Area and Self Selection Area. The most popular cuisines here are multigrain flour, bread with leaking milk, Beijing roast chicken etc. No matter what flavor you like, spicy, sour, salty or sweet, you can always find your cup of tea here.

On the 3^rd floor:

Here are two restaurants for group gatherings. The Hangzhou Cuisine Hall and Sichuan Cuisine Hall will open soon in the coming month.

When does it open?

1^st Floor: Lunch 11:00-13:30; Dinner 16:30-19:30

2^nd Floor: Breakfast: 6:30-9:00; Lunch 11:00-13:00; Dinner 16:30-18:30

How to give suggestions?

If you feel unsatisfied with the dishes, you can scan the QR code on the table to give your suggestions to the canteen. The manager will come to the seat to settle the problem in five minutes. Through the process, the canteen constantly updates the menu and makes fine adjustment to the current dishes to give us a better consuming experience.
