An awesome shot of the band's performance

One of the courses this month was Creative Writing Practice for Film and Television, and the instructor in class asked for a ten-minute documentary or more as a final assignment.

I was introduced by a friend to an up-and-coming band from Hangzhou, the name of the band is: Disband Tomorrow. This band came from a campus band. I think the name of the band is particularly interesting and the people in the band are really awesome! The band was founded with the same spontaneity as the band's name. The lead singer of the band told me that they started the band after they lost a game and thought they couldn't continue playing and wanted to find something else to do, so they said they would form a band. When the band was first formed, they went through a lot of hard stories. At first they could only cover other people's songs, but in the end they slowly got their own original songs and were able to perform in some venues, and now they have become a small famous band.

After a few online communications, I thought it was worthwhile to shoot this project. So last week, we went to Hangzhou to shoot a rehearsal session with the band and heard their live music and it was great! Their music style is punk, and for me I really like this style of music. Especially their lead singer is very individual. We will also go to Ningbo on April 16 to shoot their live performance, it will be a good shooting experience!
