The little prince in that masterpiece written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was always attracted to sunsets when he was down in spirits. However, students at ZJU consider watching sunsets as a way to relax and enjoy nature. Here are some great places on campus to view the sunsets.

The Crescent Building (YueYaLou) comes first for its spacious surroundings without tall buildings, enabling an open vision for afterglow viewing. Moreover, the stunning afterglow can create a harmonious atmosphere, accompanied by the well-known Can Ruo Xing Chen Light, which means shiny like stars.

The second place for a memorable sunset-viewing is the lakeside of “Qi Zhen Lake.” Hundreds of lotuses serve as a carpet, decorating the sunset with a splash of green that adds much vitality to this energetic scene. The limpid surface of the lake can reflect the sunset, and you may see two “suns” at the same time. It is worth noting that many black swans live in this lake, and you may be lucky enough to share the view with these feathered friends.

The third place I recommend is the East Teaching Building. Unlike the North Teaching Building, the East Teaching Building is more connected to outdoor views. There aren't many windows that might obstruct your sight; instead, there is ample open space for you to take photos. Many palms are planted near the building. Can't you imagine that you are now staying in a tropical area, enjoying sunsets on the beach? Such an inspiring view after a whole day of study can help you shake off tiredness and anxiety.
