【Editor’s Note: The Global Research Immersion Program for Young Scientists (Grips), launched in 2024, is a collaboration among Zhejiang University, the University of Science and Technology of China, Fudan University, and Nanjing University. Aimed at fostering exchanges between students worldwide, Grips offers research internships in the Yangtze River Delta, blending scientific exploration with local cultural experiences. The program initially drew 155 participants from prestigious universities. This episode of Dialogue@ZJU features Malek Arous from LMU and Yorick Behme from TU Dresden.
