A Day Begins with the ancient Fuyang Town

I had the wonderful opportunity to join a trip to Fuyang Town with a group of club committee members. I was truly amazed by the town’s peaceful and serene atmosphere. As we strolled through the ancient streets, a staff member guided us around, sharing fascinating insights about the town’s unique features.

A gentle stream meandered slowly through the town, adding to its tranquil atmosphere. Midway through the trip, we stopped to try a local snack made from flour and egg. It was sweet and crispy, and the delightful texture quickly won us over. After enjoying the snack, we continued exploring the town. Our next stop was an old citizen’s house, which, despite its age, was neat and exuded a peaceful charm.

The staff then showed us a room that had once served as a study space for children. We all listened intently as they shared stories about the history and events that took place there. Following the introduction, we enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring local dishes, each bite flavorful and satisfying.

After lunch, we visited the Fuyang Museum and attended a ceremony that appeared to be a collaboration announcement between the local government and several universities aimed at promoting the development of local tourism. We enjoyed the lively performances during the event, which were filled with joy and beautifully showcased the region’s authentic culture.

I had a great time visiting Fuyang Town and would definitely love to revisit this charming place in the future. Many thanks to the International College for organizing such a successful and enjoyable trip.
