But hey, what if I told you there’s a quiet, underrated gem hiding in plain sight?

Welcome to the Medicine and Agriculture Library—a study sanctuary that many students overlook!

Tucked away near the School of Medicine and College of Pharmaceutical Sciences,

this library might not be on your radar unless you study in these fields. However, it’s open to all ZJU students, and trust me, it’s worth the visit. Whether you need to finish an assignment, prep for exams, or just enjoy some uninterrupted reading time, this spot has you covered.

Unlike other libraries, it doesn’t feel so suffocating. In the main library, you’re always surrounded by a sea of students buried in books, which can feel a bit intense. Here, the atmosphere is much more relaxed. Cherry on top—if you love the scent of books just like me, congratulations, you’ve just found your personal aromatherapy spot!

There’s also a secret balcony for some fresh air! I call it secret because hardly anyone goes out there—the door leading to it is quite inconspicuous. If you need a breather between study sessions or just want to enjoy a peaceful view, this hidden spot is perfect.
