September highlights: our campus drama festival

2025-11-03

September brought a major event for me—the drama festival I organized finally kicked off!

We invited a Kunqu opera troupe and a musical cast to campus to share insights into the art of theater. During the event, every student watched the performances attentively, and afterward, we exchanged our thoughts and impressions. The actresses were absolutely stunning, and I even managed to take a photo with one of them!

Over the following two weeks, we hosted film screenings and a café gathering, where we chatted and shared our understanding of drama. As an outgoing girl, I find it easy to connect with others, and it’s through these connections that I feel a true sense of belonging. I love talking with friends—we discuss drama, films, literature, or even just plan our next meal together. These simple, joyful moments make me feel happy and relaxed.

Although organizing the festival was exhausting, I never let it affect my studies. During the National Day holiday, I often went to the library to complete my assignments. My junior year has been challenging, with many tasks to prepare for, but I’m confident I can tackle them one by one.

This month has been busy and tiring, but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I love the feeling of organizing events—it allows me to bring my ideas to life and see them come true. It was wonderful to see so many people supporting our drama festival! The whole experience deepened my love for drama and made me appreciate my friends more than ever.

Here are some photos from the event to share with you all! I hope everyone finds the courage to speak up and share their ideas more during college—you never know how inspiring your voice might be to others.
