The 7th “Idea Explorer” Innovation & Entrepreneurship Global Summer Camp kicks off at ZJU
On June 16, more than 40 students from 12 countries and regions arrived at ZJU and attended the opening ceremony of the 7th "Idea Explorer" Innovation & Entrepreneurship Global Summer Camp. For the next three weeks they will be involved in academic lectures, tech giant tours and cultural immersion activities on and outside the campus.
"I am absolutely delighted to welcome this group of excellent and intelligent students from across the globe to the School of Management. As President XI Jinping Puts it, ‘the day of Zhejiang will be tomorrow for China’, I do believe they will have a chance to peek into the future of China in this city through the program," said Prof. WEI Jiang, dean of ZJU’s School of Management.
After the opening ceremony, students were given three hours to explore Zijingang Campus by completing a list of tasks, such as recharging the dining card, eating at the campus cafeteria, visiting Nanhua Teahouse, taking a campus shuttle, etc. In the afternoon, they headed to Hangzhou Cuisine Museum and learnt the culture and enjoy the taste of Hangzhou cuisine.
