2018-09-19

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for strategic cooperation was signed between ZJU and Springer Nature on Sept. 14. Under the MOU, ZJU and Springer Nature will explore cooperation opportunities on a broad range of areas, including brand promotion, overseas talent recruitment, co-publishing, academic training, etc.

"The University has established a fruitful relationship with Springer Nature in talent recruiting, international conferences, training and marketing. The MOU will further upgrade the long-term partnership between the two parties to a higher level and a wider scope," said Vice President HE Lianzhen.

Arnout Jacobs, managing director of Springer Nature Greater China said: "Springer Nature is willing to leverage its broad expertises, scientific platforms and global network to assist ZJU to achieve its ambitous goals on 'Double First-Class' Initiative."

HE Lianzhen also introduced the idea of "Global ZJU" to Arnout Jacobs. "Global ZJU", the international strategy announced recently, expressed the University's aspiration to make a more distinctive and positive impact on the world.
