China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition was held at ZJU on Nov. 1-3. ZJU dazzled the audience by clinching six gold medals, ranking the 1st at the competition.
On the evening of Nov. 1, the curtain of the finals of China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition 2018 went up brilliantly. Present at the opening ceremony were YIN Dongmei, secretary of the Chinese Communist Youth League, WANG Wenxu, vice governor of Zhejiang Province, WU Zhaohui, president of Zhejiang University, WANG Shengbo, chair of All-China Students' Federation, WANG Liang, vice inspector of the Chinese Communist Youth League, and FU Xiaofeng, deputy secretariat of Zhejiang People's Government, etc.
A total of 355 projects from roughly 200 institutions of higher education participated in the innovation & entrepreneurship exhibition of China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Competition at the Zijingang Stadium.
The AI Youth Forum 2018 was held on November 3. Experts in the field of AI and elite young makers explored the forefront of science and technology together. Vein Authen from Tsinghua University, Zigguart from Xi'an Jiao Tong University and Genius Pro from Zhejiang University showcased their distinctive projects in the public pitch section. Judges offered their constructive suggestions on key technological breakthroughs, marketing strategies and development paths.
Winners were officially announced at the closing ceremony on the evening of Nov. 3. ZJU teams preformed remarkably with 6 gold medals. These gold-winning projects included: Move My Glow Stick for You—an AI call system, StepBeats—an AI music creation platform, YunphantBaaS Platform, Hangzhou Genius Pro Co. Ltd., Huasheng Holdings and ‘Earth Successor’ Sustainable Development Global Citizenship Program.
