International student wins the title of “Ten Outstanding Young Talents in Hangzhou”

On April 25, 2019, Hangzhou City celebrated the 100th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement and presented the “Ten Outstanding Young Talents Award”. Tim Clancy, an Australian student at Zhejiang University, won this coveted title. It is the first time that an overseas youngster has received this award. Tim Clancy is an undergraduate student majoring in clinical medicine. In his spare time, he dedicates himself to volunteer work and is thus hailed as a foreign “Lei Feng” in Hangzhou. Meanwhile, he also creates TIM Workshop with a view to promoting and disseminating the Chinese culture in the international arena.
