ZJU Gets Through to Final of ASC16

Zhejiang University performed spectacularly in ASC16 (2016 ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge) Preliminary Contest, one of the top three supercomputer contests in the world, and made it to the final.

The ZJU team is headed by Chen Jianhai of the College  of Computer Science and Technology and is composed of sophomores and juniors, including Shan Ting, Cao Shuxiang, Xu Qiyuan, Zhu Dinghan, Heyu, Chen Xingmou, Sun Yaozhu, etc. The topics in the preliminary contest cover HPCG benchmark test, surface wave numerical model MASNUM, and deep learning algorithm Deep Neural Network (DNN).
