Delegation of Rutgers University Visits ZJU

On the afternoon of March 15, Ying Yibin, Vice President of Zhejiang University, met with the delegation of Rutgers University headed by Eric Garfunkel, Interim Vice President for International and Global Affairs.

Ying Yibin introduced to the distinguished guests the basic information about ZJU, including its history, disciplines, and research funds. He then spelled out in detail the construction of International Campus in Haining and made a special mention of ZJU-UoE Institute and ZJU-UIUC Institute.

Eric Garfunkel gave a brief introduction to Rutgers University. He said that Rutgers attached immense importance to entering into partnership with universities in China and hoped that this trip would pave the way for high-division studies for Rutgers students at ZJU.

Ying Yibin said that ZJU was currently offering 100-plus English courses and a wide spectrum of Chinese language courses and that Rutgers students were more than welcome to pursue their studies at ZJU.
