School of Medicine Holds Commencement Ceremony for MBBS International Graduates

On March 23, the School of Medicine, Zhejiang  University, held a commencement ceremony for international graduates in the MBBS program. A total of 66 students from 14 countries completed their course studies and clinical internships successfully and obtained their bachelor’s degree.

Executive Vice President Song Yonghua delivered a speech at the ceremony. He expressed his cordial hope that graduates will contribute all they can to the medical field for all humanity. Wang Li, Dean of the International College of Zhejiang University, also extended his warmest congratulations to them and hoped that they will advertise Zhejiang University after they return to their home countries. Chen Zhi, Executive Vice Dean of the School of Medicine, expected them to bear in mind the oath of a medical student, pursue lifelong learning and adhere to the motto of “pursuing the truth and pioneering new trails”. Annapurna Sadhukl and Thanapon Napawar, who graduated cum laude, spoke on behalf of all the students. They recalled their precious time at Zhejiang University and expressed their heart-felt gratitude towards their alma mater.
