ZJU hosts Hokkaido University Day

From March 27 to 28, ZJU's Zijingang Campus received a group of special guests from Japan's Hokkaido University (Hokudai), led by President Professor Toyoharu Nawa. 

This delegation consists of 25 faculty and staff members from different schools, including agriculture, engineering and health sciences, as well as 21 students. During their stay in Hangzhou, the Japanese guests had an in-depth discussion with ZJU scholars in corresponding schools.

In the opening remarks for the Hokudai day, both ZJU President WU Zhaohui and Prof. Toyoharu Nawa reaffirmed the close relationship between ZJU and Hokudai. They agreed that more opportunities are ahead for developing extensive collaborations between the two universities in this ever-changing world. 

This is second time that ZJU has hosted the Hokudai Day, following the inaugural event in 2010.
