Abstract:

In this talk, I would like to introduce the Nature family journals and describe the key differences between different journals. I will briefly talk about the scope, content type, and editorial requirements for Nature, Nature Research Journals, Nature Reviews Journals and Nature Communications. Following a brief introduction of my colleagues, I would like to talk about details of editorial processes and how editors make decisions at various stages from pre-submission to post-peer review. Lastly, I would like to talk about open access journals and recent policies trialed in Nature Communications.
