ZJU-Angelalign Research & Development Center for Intelligent Healthcare launched at the ZJUI

ZJU-Angelalign Research & Development Center for Intelligent Healthcare was set up at Zhejiang University/University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI) on December 9. It is aimed to harness the cutting-edge technologies of artificial intelligence and machine learning to conduct cross-disciplinary research and develop a new generation of technologies and standards for intelligent diagnosis and manufacturing in the dental healthcare.  

“Focusing on the intelligent medicine, the Center is expected to boost the capacity for research & development via university-enterprise cooperation and lend support to the cultivation of engineering talent,” said Prof. LI Erping, Director of the Center and Vice Dean of the International Campus.

“The Center will capitalize on ZJUI’s research resources and strive to become a benchmark in the domain of the intelligent dental healthcare in China and beyond,” said LI Huamin, founder and CEO of Angelalign.

“As the first university-enterprise joint research center at the ZJUI”, said Prof. LI Hanying, Vice Dean of the ZJUI, “it will be built into an innovation platform integrating research, technology development and talent training, thus injecting new life into the dental healthcare system.”
