ZJU and University of Glasgow ink MOU online

On May 26, Prof. HE Lianzhen, vice president of Zhejiang University, and Rachel Sandison, vice principal of the University of Glasgow, signed a university-wide memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the virtual conference.

Prof. HE noted that in the face of global challenges such as the COVID-19, Zhejiang University is looking forward to strengthening dialogues and cooperation with its global partners, including the University of Glasgow, and leveraging mutual strengths to make greater contributions to the delivery of the 2030 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Rachel Sandison said that it was a great pleasure for the University of Glasgow to formalize its relationship with ZJU, hoping that both parties would deepen cooperation in the areas of education, research and mobility in pursuit of mutual excellence.

The signing of the MoU was followed by an in-depth discussion over cooperation in the relevant areas, joined by heads of ZJU’s Office of Global Engagement, College of Media and International Culture, School of Economics and the University of Glasgow's External Relations team, Faculty of Arts and Adam Smith Business School.
