Happy International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day, a global day to honor women’s rights and achievements across the political, economic, social and cultural spheres.   

Women in ZJU community stay in the frontline of education，research and innovation and many of them are heroes in harm’s way. ZJU is very proud of these empowering women. There is no better time to shine a light on what they have been doing.  

Their achievements have been acknowledged by the MoST of China, MIT TR35 China, Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, and IBRO-Kemali International Prize. Our talented students have taken home many prizes. Breakthrough in autoinflammatory disease was published in the prestigious journal. Our women leaders actively engaged in improving international profile of the University. More importantly, strength, courage and determination demonstrated by female medics, faculty, students and alumna of ZJU in the fight against COVID-19 will keep inspire us to stay true to our vision, a world-class university that transform lives and improve China and the world.
