This presentation focusing on perceived overqualification will include two components. First, a summary of perceived overqualification research including the introduction of the topic, extant research, and potential directions will be discussed. Second, a present study on perceived overqualification and stress tolerance will be shared.Bio: Dr Chao Ma is currently a Lecturer/Assistant Professor of Management in the Research School of Management, College of Business and Economics, Australian National University (ANU) and the academic lead of ANU Centre for Asian-Australian Leadership.

Speaker: Taesoo Lee, Ph.D., Seoul National UniversityTime: 16:30, April 3 Venue: Room C210, No. 8 Hainayuan Building, Zijingang Campus Abstract: Quantum dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs) have gamered significant altention as a promising candidate for display technologles, owing to the superior optical properties of colloldal quantum dots (QDs) Multi+lateral efforts have been devoted to improving the performance of QLEDs, ranging from advanced synthesis of QDs to elaborate architectural modifications. Along with these efforts, studies on outcoupling control are needed for QLEDs to be implemented to various next generation optoelectronics, such as wearable devices and augmented realily/virtual realily displays. In this regard, top-emission structure is an attractive device architecture that can successfully address this issue. In this presentation, l introduce elaborate optimizations of top-emission structure, realizing record-high current efficiencies and extremely high luminance. In additlion, control of angular emission profiles of top-emitting OLEDs is introduced to emit angle-independent light emission. l believe that this research can give better insights about realizing high-power and color-stable QLEDs, expanding their potential applications to various industries.Biography: Taesoo Lee received his Ph.D. from Seoul National University (SNU). However, fundamental mechanisms, such as charge injection into QDs, exciton recombination, and operational stability, should be understood to realize the QLED displays. In this presentation, a recent research progress in my group, including the mechanisms of charge carrier and exciton dynamics in QLEDs and the device design and fabrication processes to achieve high performance QLEDs, are discussed.Biography: Jeonghun Kwak received his B.S. (2005) and Ph.D. (2010) degrees in Electrical Engineering from SNU. Since March 2019, he has been an associate professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, SNU.
