HistoryIn the framework of strengthening the strategic plan for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs and the implementation of initiatives related to the goals and objectives of the strategy, which in turn is seeking to keep up with global developments in the field of youth and sports. These were then translated into a group of youth and sports programs, to enable young people to enrich the sustainable development and competitiveness in the Kingdom. Then with directives from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa His Majesty’s representative for Charity and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, The Nasser Bin Hamad Youth Creativity Award was launched in the year 2011 as an initiative from The General Organization for Youth and Sports (at the time).The NBH Award has sought to spark the creativity within the youth from all over the kingdom in the various fields of interest. After the strong turnout from the Bahraini youth in the first edition, doors opened in the second edition of the award for the youth in all GCC countries in 2012.The NBH Award represents Bahrain’s strong efforts and determination to give back to the youth and aid them in developing their creativity as well as skills in all six fields of the Award. After the success of both editions, the third edition of The NBH Award was launched as an international Award with the theme “Live Your Dream” giving an opportunity for young people from all over the world to participate and express their innovation and creativity with no limits or restrictions in their path.VisionTo nurture the creativity in the youth and enhance their talents in various fields of science, literary and artistic skills to a professional level to enable them to reach prominent levels on a global standard.Call for Entrieshttp://nbhaward.bh/call-for-entries/Please refer to the official website for more information.

The Office of International Relations invites all professional or amateur photographers from ZJU to enter its annual photo contest with the theme “Discover ZJU”. Share your best shots of any ZJUer and show the world how ZJUers are making a difference! I. Eligibility:ALL students (undergraduates & post-graduates), faculty and staff members of ZJU is welcome to enter the contest. = 2 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT II. Requirements for Entries:1. CategoryPeople2. Contenta. The main characters in the photo should be students, faculty or staff of ZJU;b. No restriction on locations; c. Special emphasis will be given to photographers who produce visually arresting and storytelling photos.3. Formata. Colored or B/W photos shot during June-September, 2018 are accepted. Every entrant can submit up to 5 photos;b. Entries must be in JPEG format and larger than 2MB;c. The file of a single entry should be named as the photographer’s name and photo series named as the photographer’s name + ordinal number.d. Please fill in the registration form (attachment 1) and photo statement (attachment 2). Include photos in a package along with the two files and name the package as: the photographer's name + mobile number. = 3 \* ROMAN \* MERGEFORMAT III. The Asia-Pacific Case Competition challenges students to critically evaluate the fast-evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. How we can harness the full potential of this promising technology?
