
The 6th World Junior Wushu Championships was held in Burgas, Bulgaria, from September 29 to October 3. Zheng Mengxuan, a freshman majoring in Wushu and National Traditional Sports, attended the championships on behalf of China and won a gold medal in Girl’s Jianshu A.

The World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC) is an international Wushu competition organized by the International Wushu Federation for competitors below 18 years of age. The 6th edition of the WJWC attracted more than 600 participants from 51 countries/regions. It featured both Taolu (3 age divisions) and Sanda events for both male and female competitors. Prof. Lin Xiaomei was invited to act as Chief Referee in the championships.
