On December 9, Yan Jianhua, Vice President of Zhejiang University, met with a delegation of John Wiley & Sons Inc. led by Senior Vice President Reed Elfenbein.
During the meeting, Yan Jianhua introduced to the guests the overview and disciplinary assets of Zhejiang University and expressed his hope for further cooperation in three aspects: co-publishing journals or special editions; co-hosting academic seminars; and running training sessions for faculty and doctoral candidates regarding paper writing, subscription and publishing. Ms. Reed Elfenbein appreciated the wonderful collaboration between faculty and researchers of Zhejiang University and Wiley. She looked forward to better cooperation with institutions of higher education and research institutes so as to showcase the up-to-second findings concerning the scientific and technological development in China.
