Ru-Shan Gao is a Supervisory Research Physicist and the Program Leader of the NOAA Earth System Research Laboratory Atmospheric Compositions and Chemical Processes Group. He has significant experience with NASA and NOAA airborne science missions in instrument and mission science lead roles. His specialty is developing instruments for airborne in situ measurements of aerosol and gas-phase species in the troposphere and lower stratosphere.
