On March 27, a delegation from the University of Alberta, including Professor TANG Tian, Vice-Provost (International Education and Enrollment), and Dr. HUANG Cen, Special Advisor to the Provost on China Relations, visited Zhejiang University. GU Zhen, Associate Vice President, met with the delegation.

During the meeting, both sides introduced the latest developments at their respective institutions and reviewed the progress of cooperation in areas such as polymer science, control science, environmental science, animal science, and medicine. They spoke highly of the fruitful outcomes achieved in student exchange and research collaboration, and conducted in-depth discussions on future cooperation.
Both universities expressed their willingness to leverage their strengths in fundamental research and innovation and entrepreneurship, while drawing on their disciplinary assets to further promote two-way student mobility and joint training programs. They also expressed their shared commitment to advancing educational cooperation between China and Canada.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Office of Global Engagement, the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University.
