Nanyang Technological University delegation visits Zhejiang University

On May 25, a delegation from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) visited Zhejiang University (ZJU). The delegation included Prof. Tan Seng Chee (Associate Vice Provost for Education Transformation), Prof Goh Wang Ling (Associate Vice Provost for Student Engagement & Vibrancy), and Jeremy Tan Kok Liann (Chief Human Resource Officer).

LIANG Junying, Director of the Office of Global Engagement and Dean of the International College at ZJU, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. During the meeting, representatives from both universities presented their latest institutional developments and strategic initiatives. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on a wide range of topics, including holistic student cultivation, artificial intelligence-empowered higher education, innovation and entrepreneurship education, as well as faculty development and the capacity building of administrative staff. Both institutions expressed a strong interest in fostering mutual learning and exploring potential avenues for future collaboration.

To gain a practical understanding of ZJU's educational environment, the delegation toured the university's Future Learning Center, the library, and the campus. The tour showcased ZJU's latest achievements in smart education and digital learning spaces, offering the visitors a firsthand look at the university's rich academic heritage and vibrant student life.

The meeting was also attended by officials and administrative representatives from ZJU's Organization Department of the CPC ZJU Committee, Working Committee of the CPC ZJU Organs, Communist Youth League Committee, Human Resources Department, Office of Global Engagement, and Undergraduate School.
