On May 18, a delegation from the National University of Singapore (NUS), led by Tan Sian Wee, Senior Vice President (Innovation and Enterprise), visited Zhejiang University (ZJU). Associate Vice President GU Zhen met with the delegation to discuss future collaboration.

During the meeting, GU Zhen introduced ZJU’s approaches and achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education. He noted that ZJU and NUS have maintained close and productive cooperation in education and research for many years. Looking ahead, he expressed the hope that the two universities would further deepen exchanges and collaboration, particularly in technology transfer, by developing platforms for deeper cooperation and promoting coordinated innovation.
Tan Sian Wee spoke highly of ZJU’s accomplishments in innovation, entrepreneurship, and research commercialization. He looked forward to closer collaboration between the two universities in the future, including exploring diverse partnership models such as jointly established platforms, and further expanding the scope and depth of cooperation to reinforce the long-standing ties between the two institutions.
During the visit, the delegation also toured the Liangzhu Laboratory to learn more about ZJU’s collaborative innovation initiatives with local partners and exchanged views with the laboratory’s leadership team.
