On May 13, MA Yanming, President of Zhejiang University (ZJU), met with a delegation led by Lê Quân, Deputy Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam. The two sides exchanged views on student development, training for education administrators, and future cooperation between Zhejiang University and universities in Vietnam.

During the meeting, MA Yanming introduced ZJU’s recent development and its growing engagement with Vietnamese partners. He noted that exchanges between ZJU and Vietnamese higher education institutions have become increasingly active in recent years. He expressed the university’s hope to further strengthen collaboration with Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training and Vietnamese universities, working together to nurture outstanding talent and contribute to closer higher education ties between the two countries.
Lê Quân spoke highly of ZJU’s remarkable achievements in digital education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He said that Vietnam looks forward to deepening cooperation with ZJU by encouraging more Vietnamese students to pursue advanced studies and launching training programs for education administrators to support the high-caliber development of education in Vietnam.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the Zhejiang University Future Learning Center, where they gained firsthand insight into the university’s progress in digital education.
