Recently, Enrico Schleiff, President of Goethe University Frankfurt, visited Zhejiang University (ZJU). President MA Yanming met with the delegation on Zijingang Campus, where the two universities signed a university-level student exchange agreement.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on student exchange, joint talent cultivation, scholar mobility, and research collaboration. Both universities agreed that they have built a strong foundation for cooperation in areas such as life sciences, physics, and the humanities and social sciences. Building on the university-level memorandum of understanding and student exchange agreement, they expressed hopes of exploring more practical forms of collaboration, including joint academic programs, visiting scholar initiatives, and academic forums.

During the visit, Enrico Schleiff also toured the Zhejiang University Future Learning Center, where he learned more about ZJU’s efforts to advance educational reform in the age of artificial intelligence, explore new models of future learning, and cultivate innovative talent.
Earlier this March, MA Yanming led a delegation to Goethe University Frankfurt, where the two universities signed a university-level memorandum of understanding, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation.
