2026-04-06 Global Communications

On April 2, Zhejiang University International Campus (Haining) held its 2026 Spring Career Fair. Targeting domestic and international talent demands in key sectors, the event attracted over 40 renowned enterprises, including Supcon, Hundsun Technologies, Geely Auto, and SF Express. The fair effectively connected over 500 Chinese and international students with employers.

LI Min, the Chief of International Campus, visited booths to discuss industry trends with company representatives and learn about evolving talent needs. She also encouraged students in their job search.

The career fair was strategically aligned with key national industries, covering vital sectors such as manufacturing, biomedicine, and the digital economy, effectively bridging the gap to global employment opportunities for the graduating classes of 2026 and 2027. Notably, many of the companies in attendance have participated in this campus recruitment event for several consecutive years. HR representatives highlighted that students from the International Campus possess a strong combination of solid academic foundations, excellent cross-cultural communication skills, and an innovative mindset—qualities that perfectly align with the talent requirements of their companies' global expansion strategies. They expressed a strong desire to establish long-term, collaborative school-enterprise mechanisms to ensure the talent pipeline aligns seamlessly with industry demands.

The venue was bustling with enthusiastic attendees, and students found the event highly rewarding. Underclassmen seized the opportunity to gain an early understanding of industry expectations, while upperclassmen focused intently on securing their target positions. Furthermore, the campus set up a Career Service Station, an AI-powered Smart Employment Experience Zone, and a Policy Consultation Desk. These stations provided students with practical support, such as AI-driven resume optimization and mock interviews. Staff were also on-site to answer policy-related questions concerning visa applications, work permits, and entrepreneurial support, offering tangible solutions to the challenges international and domestic students face when navigating the job market.

This career fair is one of the signature events under the campus's "iCareer" guidance brand. Moving forward, the International Campus will continue to leverage its unique international educational model, deepen school-enterprise partnerships, and broaden employment channels, empowering students from around the world to embark on exciting new chapters in their careers.
