ZJU is committed to research excellence on the highest national and international standards, and to actively integrate research with teaching. The University is accountable for the work conducted by faculty, staff and students under its auspices. In addition, research work from ZJU also has to meet external accountabilities.

Suitable training is provided to protect the individuals doing the research, the participants or subjects of the research, enabling acquisition of the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to ensure competency in all aspects of work, including health and safety and minimize the harms or risk during the research.

Fire Safety Training

This training is designed to help protect, so far as is reasonably practicable, employees and anyone else affected by the work of the University against fire and the effects of fire. The Fire Safety Advisor in the College/School can provide further relevant advice, assistance and training for anyone working for or on behalf of the University, please contact them directly for more information.

Human Research Ethics Training

Research involving human subjects need to have their application either approved by the human research ethics committee. For more information, please contact the School of Medicine.

Animal User Training

All personnel involved in the use of animals in research, teaching and testing must be adequately trained in the principles of laboratory animal science and the ethical issues involved in animal use. Research Ethics Training

Laboratory Safety Training
