C4-Mobile Application Innovation Contest 2017 Concluded in Hangzhou

    The award ceremony of China Collegiate Computing Contest & the Mobile Application Innovation Contest 2017 took place on September 24 in Hangzhou. The Mobile Application Innovation Contest was co-hosted by Zhejiang University and the Apple Inc. As a major part of China Collegiate Computing Contest, the Mobile Application Innovation Contest aimed at encouraging students to apply innovative technology with the focus on hot issues and livelihood domains and cultivating students’ passion for life and responsibility for society. More than 2,000 college students participated in the contest and 55 teams (including 5 from Taiwan) made it to the final leg.  

    Step Beats, developed by Zhejiang University, is an AI platform for sport-related musical composition. It came in first in the final leg and won the gold medal in the national final of the Internet Plus Competition as the one and only recommended project of the Mobile Application Innovation Contest.
