ZJU Rises to 21st Place in QS University Rankings Asia 2018

    Zhejiang University (ZJU) has continued its steady rise in Asia as it moved up three places to 21st in the 2018 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings: Asia, following Tsinghua University(#6), Fudan University(#7), Peking University(#9).

    ZJU ranks 4th in China, surpassing Shanghai Jiao Tong University, which remains 22nd as last year. A total of 23 Chinese universities are listed among thetop 100 inQS University Rankings Asia 2018.

    This result reaffirms ZJU’s position as one of the top universities in China and Asia, driven by its good performances in five key indicators - academic reputation, employer reputation, paper per faculty, inbound and outbound exchanges.

    ZJU will strive to improve in areas related to ranking criteria, namely, faculty - student, staff with PhD, and international student enrollment.
