ZJU Doubles Entries on 2017 Highly Cited Researchers List
Clarivate Analytics, the global leader in science statistics, has released its annual Highly Cited Researchers list. Zhejiang University has doubled its entries from six in 2016, with 13 influential researchers appearing on the list.
The 13 researchers come from various colleges and schools at ZJU, including the School of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Control Science and Engineering, College of Agriculture and Biotechnology, and College of Energy Engineering.
Among Chinese institutions, ZJU is next only to Chinese Academy of Sciences (44 entries) and Tsinghua University (15 entries), securing the same position as last year.

Clarivate Analytics assembled an updated roster of more than 3,300 Highly Cited Researchers around the world. These researchers have distinguished themselves by publishing a high number of papers that rank in the top 1% most-cited in their respective fields over a recent 11-year period. The list covers 21 academic fields, ranging from economics and business to engineering.
